Flower/Butterfly Headbands

In this post I will be showing you how to make Butterfly/Flower Headbands.They are super cute,and the idea was inspired by my brother's pet rabbit, Maxine, because one morning when I let her out of her hutch, she spotted a butterfly sitting on a flower, and she just sat there watching it quietly and calmly.It was the sweetest thing.Anyway, these flowery and fluttery delights are just gorgeous when you place the band on your head.Try to coordinate the colors, like a yellow headband and butterfly with a peach colored flower, or if you are in a Christmas mood, combine a green headband and butterfly, with a red flower.Another reason I decided to do this quick post, is that since I live in the united states, summer is coming to an end, and I decided to soak up the last bits of summer sweetness into one more bright and sunny project.  

Here's what you'll need:

•  1 Headband (Thick)
• Aleene's glue (preferably fast grab)
• 1 fake flower
• 1 plastic butterfly

First, take your headband, make sure that the band is clean and ready to use.

Then, take your flower, and kind of figure out 

where you want it to be on the band.

After that, you take your glue, and dot it on
 the bottom of the flower.

Now press the flower to the spot 
you wanted it to be at, and hold for about 30
 seconds. By then, the glue should be
 dry enough to move to the next step.

Take your glue and put a nice dot 
in the center of
 the flower. This is where 
the butterfly will be placed.

Before you press the butterfly to the glue, take a minute to examine it. Make sure it is clean and ready to glue.

Finally, press the butterfly onto the flower. let the headband rest for the next 2 to 3 hours in a sunny spot.

Now you are done. With this headband no matter whatever the climate you will always look like a splash of sunlight. xoxo, Via
